MIRROR MIRROR’S screen story was written by Melisa Wallack and the screenplay was written by Marc Klein and Jason Keller.

Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D Movie REVIEW

Last Thursday night I was invited to see a sneak peek of Katy Perry:  Part of Me 3D movie.  I invited my husband for a date night and of course like most men he said YES!

We got some munchies and special 3D glasses!  This has been my first 3D concert movie and they started the night perfect with a classical You Are the One that I Love  Grease clip from Paramount Pictures.  I was so loving it!


Katy Perry:  Part of Me is a combination of scenes from her last tour, California Dream and her life.  As a somewhat of a fan (I knew most of her songs) I was immediately intrigued with her past and upbringing.  I related to her when it came to strict parents and feeling like I couldn't express myself.  Here is a scene of Katy Perry at 18 from the movie...





The movie gives you a behind the scenes look at her tour and some personal challenges she has gone through including the separation with Russell Brand.  


My favorite scene was her grandmother....I loved her honesty!  Here is another scene from the movie.





In the end I became more of a fan of her and her music.  Can't stop singing her song Firework and my husband loved the movie!  So if you have kids that love her or you are a fan check out the movie it will bring you closer to Katy Perry!

Ahoy scallywags time t' get splashin' at Buccaneer Cove in Castle Park

Last Monday my family and I went to Buccaneer Cove at Castle Park, Riverside (it is discounted on Mondays).  We have previously went to Castle Park to enjoy the rides last winter and had seen glimpses of Buccaneer Cove.  My son so wanted to go in and explore.  Finally our patience paid off when the weather started getting warmer.


Buccaneer Cove is like a giant playground with water. 

It was 5 water slides,

  

My son was able to ride all of them, (42") but was intimidated by the tunnel one!  Maybe next time!

My son loved the water shooters and getting me wet!

There are plenty of chairs to lay out and relax...some of them have shade, and if you would like you can rent a cabana.

We had such a great time....my son asked me after we left, mom we need to explore some more, they have GOLFING!  Maybe next time!

I liked this one!  you can turn the wheel and the "umbrella" turns!

Gift Ideas:
-During the week prior to Father's Day, have the kids decorate a special jar or box and write down things they love about Dad. Put these in the jar or box. On Father's Day, present him with the special holder, and have him read all the things the kids love about him.

-Make a crown for him...have him be king for a day.

-For a 1st Father's Day get a nice tie and paint the bottom of your babies feet with fabric paint (it comes off easily with baby wipes).  When your baby is asleep paint the bottom of foot then press it on the tie.
