Last Thursday night I was invited to see a sneak peek of Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D movie. I invited my husband for a date night and of course like most men he said YES!
We got some munchies and special 3D glasses! This has been my first 3D concert movie and they started the night perfect with a classical You Are the One that I Love Grease clip from Paramount Pictures. I was so loving it!
Katy Perry: Part of Me is a combination of scenes from her last tour, California Dream and her life. As a somewhat of a fan (I knew most of her songs) I was immediately intrigued with her past and upbringing. I related to her when it came to strict parents and feeling like I couldn't express myself. The movie gives you a behind the scenes look at her tour and some personal challenges she has gone through including the separation with Russell Brand.
My favorite scene was her grandmother....I loved her honesty! Here is another scene from the movie.
In the end I became more of a fan of her and her music. Can't stop singing her song Firework and my husband loved the movie! So if you have kids that love her or you are a fan check out the movie it will bring you closer to Katy Perry!
