October 1 - October 31 Children ages 11 and younger receive FREE admission to the Zoo and Wild Animal Park during October when accompanied by an adult.

The Zoo’s Guided Bus Tour and the Skyfari Aerial Tram are not included with Kids’ Free 1-Day Pass and must be purchased separately at the Zoo.

Summer Ice Festival in Lakewood

From website:  There will be lots of fun for kids of all ages at this winter-themed family event. Compete against your family and friends in icy contests and carnival games, create wintry crafts and jump around in a bounce house! Older kids can test their skill ice blocking down the hill and younger kids can run in the playground, splash in the wading pool and melt some ice. Participants should bring a towel and sunscreen. There will also be a free hot dog barbecue for all participants!

School Bus @ Lowe's Build and Grow = FREE

On Saturdays @ 10am Lowe's has a build and grow workshop for kids.


On Saturday, August 28th the kids can build a school bus. Once you enter your zip code it will prompt you for the locations that are still available.

The first 50 kids to register and be present at the store at 10am will receive a kit, aprons, and goggles.
